Why a The Rosses Credit Union Loan is different
  • There are no hidden fees or transaction charges
  • Our interest rates are fair and reasonable compared to others in the market
  • Repayments are calculated on your reducing balance, so you pay less interest with each repayment
  • Your credit union loan is insured - subject to terms and conditions - at no direct cost to you. Other lenders charge for this
  • You can pay off your loan early, make additional lump sum repayments or increase your regular repayments, without a penalty. Other lenders may charge you extra for paying them back faster!
Why Borrow with The Rosses Credit Union?
  • It sustains growth and employment as the money is spent locally
  • It provides opportunities to our members to travel abroad, get married, do home improvements, manage their finances, further their education etc
  • Borrowing from The Rosses Credit Union will help secure its future for generations of members to come
How do I apply for a loan?

In deciding whether or not to grant the loan the credit union will take into account the members record of savings and loan repayments, as well as ability to repay. Once the loan is granted the member will be asked to complete a Credit Agreement, which is a legally binding document being an undertaking to repay the loan, and to commit to regular repayments.

We require at least the following information to accompany Loan Applications i.e.

  • Evidence of Income e.g. payslips, accounts etc.
  • Three-month recent current account bank statements

The more complete the application is, the quicker the decision is made.

Remember - only members are eligible to receive loans from your credit union - so join up now !
